Training young Albanians
Started the “Train young Albanians” collaboration project between ADRIA FERRIES and the Naval University “Aleksander Moisiu”.
On 06/16//16 aboard the AF FRANCESCA in front of about 100 people, including the main albanian authorities (Minister of Social Welfare and Albanian Youth Dr. Blendi Klosi, the Ambassador of Italy in Albania Dr. Cutillo Alberto, the Mayor of Durres Dr. Vangjush Dako, the Director of Maritime Direction Mr. Gazmend Tahiri, the Rector of the ’University “Aleksander Moisiu” Dr. Kseanela Sotirofski and the dean of the Naval University Aleksander Moisiu Osman Metalla), students and journalists, has been held the press conference to present the project of collaboration between ADRIA FERRIES and the Naval University “Aleksander Moisiu”. Starring in the start-up of the project 30 young albanian boys with a season aboard the ferry ADRIA FERRIES. The goal of collaboration is to give young albanians a first contact woth the world of shipping ant to receive a high education in the field of navigation in partnership with ADRIA FERRIES.
The project starts with a view to a future development employment for albanian population in anticipation of the upcoming implementation of the Manila Convention for IMO certification issue for albanian officers. The Minister of Social Welfare and the Albanian Youth DR. Blendi Klosi made a speech, stressing how important and strategic the project was;he will provide the authorization within the next three years.
Among the main supporters of the "training young Albanians" in partnership between ADRIA FERRIES and the Naval University “Aleksander Moisiu" spoke the è Ambassador of Italy in Albania Dr. Cutillo Alberto thanking personally Dr. Alberto Rossi, ADRIA FERRIES shareolder, for the laudable initiative that will strenghten relations between the two states and to give employment opportunities to young Albanians.
During the speech of Dr. Alberto Rossi the intention to continue this collaboration with “Aleksander Moisiu University” was confirmed and, convinced of the opportunity and potential of the project, to widen it to the hotel school in Durres too.
ADRIA FERRIES, within its policies for the social, stands for similar initiatives also in italian territory where can be already mentioned the cooperation with the Technical Nautical Institute of Ancona and Bari and the Hotel Institute of Loreto (AN).
